What this website collects, why, and who else sees it.

Last updated October 9, 2026. This policy covers openbedco.com. The private members network runs on a separate platform with its own terms, and this policy does not replace them.

Who we are

Open Bed Co is a membership network for owners of small residential care homes, and for the advisors and partners who serve them. Open Bed Co is registered at 2029 Ala Wai Blvd, Honolulu, HI 96815.

For anything in this policy, write toinfo@openbedco.com or call(503) 689-0053.

What we collect

Only what you hand us, plus the ordinary technical records any website keeps.

  • When you request the AFH Playbook. Your name, email address and phone number, through a form hosted by our marketing platform.
  • When you use the chat. Whatever you type, along with any contact details you give the assistant.
  • When you apply as a power partner or for a directory listing. The answers you give on the application form, which is a Google Form.
  • When you join. Your account and payment details are collected by the membership platform at checkout, not by this website. We never see or store your card number.
  • Automatically. Standard server records such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, kept by our host for security and reliability.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell your personal information.
  • We do not sell leads, and we do not pass provider or member details to anyone as a product.
  • We do not run advertising trackers or third-party advertising pixels on this site.
  • We do not ask for health information through this website, and you should not send resident information to us through it.

Why we use it

  • To send you what you asked for, such as the Playbook.
  • To answer your questions and follow up about membership.
  • To tell you about Open Bed Co training, events and network news, until you tell us to stop.
  • To review applications for partner and directory listings.
  • To keep the site working and secure.

Who else handles it

We use outside services to run this site and our membership. Each one only receives what it needs to do its job, and each has its own privacy terms.

  • Our membership platform, which hosts the private network and takes payment at checkout.
  • Our marketing platform, which hosts the Playbook form and the chat assistant and holds the contact details you give them.
  • Google, for the partner and directory application forms.
  • Our website host, which serves these pages and keeps the server records described above.
  • YouTube, for the training videos embedded on this site. Playing one puts you in contact with YouTube, under Google's privacy terms.

Cookies and similar technology

This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies of its own today. The chat assistant, the embedded forms and the YouTube players may set their own cookies or local storage to function. If we add website analytics later, this section will be updated before it goes live.

How long we keep things

Contact details stay in our marketing platform until you ask to be removed or the record stops being useful. Membership records are kept for as long as you are a member and afterwards where we need them for accounting and legal reasons. Server records are kept for a short period by our host.

Your choices

  • Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and it works.
  • You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask us to delete it. Write to info@openbedco.com and we will respond.
  • Depending on where you live, you may have further rights over your personal information. Ask and we will tell you what applies.

Children

This is a business network for adults. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be said plainly rather than slipped in.

This page describes how Open Bed Co handles information. It is written in plain language rather than as a formal legal instrument, and it does not constitute legal advice. See also Terms of use andBilling and cancellation.
