What you can expect from us, and what we expect from you.
Last updated October 9, 2026. These terms cover openbedco.com and Open Bed Co membership. By using this site or joining the network you accept them.
Read this one properly, because it matters more than the rest.
Open Bed Co is a peer network and an education business. What is shared here and inside the network, by us, by staff, by vetted partners and by other members, is general information and the experience of people who have run these homes. It is not legal advice, not medical or clinical advice, not accounting or tax advice, and not a regulatory determination.
Licensing rules differ by state and change over time. You remain solely responsible for your own license, your own compliance, and the care of your residents. Before you act on anything you read or hear through Open Bed Co, check it against your own licensing authority and your own professional advisors. Nothing here creates a professional relationship of any kind between you and Open Bed Co or between you and another member.
Membership is a paid subscription and gives access to the private network for as long as it is active. How billing works, how to cancel and what happens afterwards are set out in Billing and cancellation.
Partner and directory places are applications. Applying does not guarantee acceptance, and we may decline or end a listing.
The private network runs on a separate membership platform which has its own terms of service. Those apply to you as well when you are inside it.
The value of this room is that people can ask a real question without being taken apart for asking it. That takes rules.
We may suspend or end access for breaking these rules, and for conduct that makes the room unsafe for other members.
What you post stays yours. By posting it in the network you give us permission to display it there and to keep it running as part of the service. We may remove anything that breaks these terms.
The material we publish, including the Playbook, the library, training recordings, templates and this website, belongs to Open Bed Co or to whoever licensed it to us. Use it to run your own business. Do not resell it, republish it or pass it to people who have not paid for it.
Member stories on this site are real and are published with permission. They describe what happened to those members. They are not a prediction, a projection or a promise about your business. What you get out of this depends on your home, your market and your work.
We aim to keep the site and the network running, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Features may change as the network grows.
To the fullest extent the law allows, Open Bed Co is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of this site or the network, including lost profits, lost business or regulatory penalties. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
We may update these terms. The date at the top will change, and material changes will be said plainly. Continuing to use the site or the network after that means you accept the updated terms.
